Repair / reinforcement

Concrete is a composite material that autodestructs over time.  Contrary to the common belief that concrete is as solid as it gets; it can reach its theoretical end of life and require maintenance works to prevent the need for total reconstruction.  Metal structures also require maintenance, just like wood and other materials.

From the first signs of degradation (cracks, delamination, carbonation, chlorination, corroded or disintegrated steel, etc.), our team of experts can work with you to establish a diagnosis and assess the most suitable repair/protection works.

We design your repairs to provide you with the offer that is best suited to your time, regulatory and budget constraints, then prepare the execution drawings and carry out the work.

Precise and efficient implementation is key:  Poorly centred tie rods, poorly spaced steel creating side thrust, concrete patches on poorly trimmed steels, reinforcing galvanic corrosion reaction with concrete acidified by carbonates, lack of upkeep on bridge expansion joints and support apparatuses, bad vibration of concrete creating micro-cracks that facilitate water ingress and accelerate carbonation of the concrete, etc. And these are only a sampling of the points we cover in order to improve our customers’ return on investment.  Our teams are trained to comply with STRRES (French union of entrepreneurs specialized in structural repair and reinforcement works) guidelines and we regularly consult recognized specialists in these fields.
